How Our Bookings Work
At Me2You Nails, we manage our bookings personally rather than through an automated online booking system. This allows us to consider the treatment you need, the condition of your current nails, your preferred nail art and the time required to complete your service properly.

Our goal is simple: to make sure enough time is reserved for you and that you know what to expect before arriving for your appointment.

1. Requesting an Appointment

When requesting an appointment, we require some information about the service you would like to book. This helps us:

-
Reserve enough time for your treatment
-
Allocate the correct service
-
Provide accurate pricing where possible
-
Prepare for any specific requests or nail art
-
Match your request with the appropriate available appointment
Booking through our website:
Simply complete our booking form with the required information.

Booking via WhatsApp:
We will send you a link to a quick-fill booking form where you can provide the information we need.

Once we have received your information, we will communicate an available date and time based on your request and our availability.

2. Securing your Appointment

Once you are happy with the proposed date and time, we can proceed with securing your appointment.

For first-time clients, a R200 deposit per service booked is required.

Once proof of payment has been received, your appointment will be confirmed.

Please refer to our Deposit, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies for the applicable terms and conditions.

3. Inspiration & Nail Art

We strongly recommend sending your inspiration photo before your appointment (if possible, when booking), particularly if you would like nail art or a specific design.

This allows us to check:

-
Whether we have the required colours or products
-
Whether the design can be recreated or adapted
-
Whether it is suitable for your nail length and shape
-
Whether the design can be completed within your allocated appointment time
-
Whether additional charges may apply
Sending inspiration beforehand helps us avoid disappointment on the day and ensures that enough time has been allocated for your appointment.
4. Your Appointment Reminder

Approximately 2 days before your appointment, we will send you a confirmation/reminder containing your booking information.
This will generally include:

-
Day and date
-
Appointment time
-
Treatment booked
-
Nail technician
-
Our location
-
Any other relevant information
Please check this message carefully.

It is your responsibility to make sure that the date, time and service shown on the confirmation correspond with what you booked.

If anything is incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies remain applicable once an appointment has been booked.
5. On the Day of Your Appointment

Simply arrive at the salon at your confirmed appointment time and let us take care of the rest.

Payment can be made by:

-
Card
-
EFT
-
Cash
After payment, we will send you confirmation that your payment has been received.
Please refer to our Payment Policy for further information regarding payments.
6. Your Next Appointment
Rebooking is an important part of the service we provide.

More than 90% of our regular clients book their appointments in advance, with many securing appointments up to 4 months ahead.

This allows our regular clients to maintain their preferred appointment intervals and gives them the best possible opportunity to secure suitable dates and times.

Within approximately 2 days after your appointment, we will send you the details of your proposed next booking, including:
Day | Date | Time | Service

You can then simply confirm that the appointment works for you or ask us to look for an alternative date or time.
You are never obligated to accept the proposed appointment.

7. Sometimes We May Ask to Move an Appointment

From time to time, we may contact you to ask whether you would be willing to move your appointment.

We understand that you have planned your day around your booking, so any change remains your choice. We will always ask, and you are completely welcome to decline.

There may be several reasons for requesting a change. For example, another client may have a specific appointment requirement that is difficult to accommodate elsewhere, or we may occasionally need to make adjustments because of an unavoidable personal or operational commitment.

We generally only approach clients whom we know may have some flexibility.

We appreciate clients helping us where they can, but we never expect you to change an appointment simply because we have asked.

8. Why Don't We Use an Online Booking System?

You may notice that we don't use Fresha or another automated booking platform.

This is intentional.

Every appointment is different.

One client may need a straightforward gel application, while another may require removal, repairs, additional preparation, extensions or detailed nail art. Two appointments that appear identical on an online booking system may therefore require very different amounts of time.

We also know our regular clients — their usual services, appointment intervals, preferences and, in many cases, the amount of time their appointments generally require.

By personally managing our diary, we can take all of this into consideration.

It also means that you communicate directly with us. If something needs clarification, we can discuss it before confirming the appointment rather than relying solely on an automated system.

We believe our booking process gives us greater control over our diary while providing our clients with clear, personal and transparent communication.

9. Personal Service Starts Before Your Appointment

For us, your service doesn't start when you sit down at the nail table.

It starts when you first contact us.

From understanding what you would like, allocating enough time and confirming your appointment, to preparing for your design and helping you secure your next booking — our booking system is part of the Me2You Nails experience.
